On behatf of South Wake MSW Landfill (SWLFJ Smith Gardner, Inc. (S+GI is pleased to submit this
semi-annual discharge monitoring report (DMR) for the first semi-annual event for 2015. The SWLF
facility Rotated in Apex, Wake County) is currently permitted (under Certificate of Coverage
NCG120080, General Permit NCG120000) to discharge stormwater at eight (81 outfall locations. As you
are aware, the Request for Representative Outfall Status was granted to SWLF by the North Carolina
Department of Environment and Natural Resources (NCOENRI, Division of Water Quality (DWQ).
Currently, the facility is required to monitor discharge at the Outfalls No. 1, 4, and 6. Stormwater
Discharge Outfall (SD01 Qualitative monitoring has continued at all eight (8) outfalls every 7 days
and/or after a 0.5 inch rain event.
For this submittal we are providing you with two 121 copies of the DMR report.
As required by the permit, analytical and qualitative monitoring of the discharge wiL1 continue. The
second semi-annual discharge sampling event for 2015 will be performed on or before December 31,
2015.
