The. City of Greensboro Stormwater Management Division has found�that property managed by.United.
Parcel Service located at 3100 Flagstone Dr. in .Greensboro,,North'Carolina is in violation of City of
Greensboro Code.Chapter 30, Article 12, Section 7.3(A)(2), which states:

The violation was determined by,Roy Graham of Stormwater Management on March 8, 2013, following
an on -site observation at 3100 Flagstone Dr. which revealed. the following condition(s):
• Wastewater from truck,washing operation at UPS is discharging non-stormwater to the
stormwater conveyance system..
To comply with Chapter 30 of the City of Greensboro Code of Ordinances, it will be necessary. to
conduct the following.three R) corrective action(s):
1) Immediately cease and/or discontinue•the discharge.of waste water (truck washing
operations) to the stormwater conveyance. system.

The permit requires monitoring in Sections B and C. However, the monitoring is only required to be performed if they
use > 55 gallons of new motor oil (Sec B) or if they discharge from oil/water separators or secondary containment (Sec
C). See permit text below. So they may or may not have to. I wouldn't count on our 2010 report as being the final word
on monitoring.
Part II, Section B - vehicle maintenance activities and utilizing more than 55 gallons new motor oil per
month when averaged over the year (those vehicle maintenance activities not utilizing more than 55
gallons of new motor oil per month are not required to conduct analytical monitoring).

In accordance with your application for discharge permit received on June 17, 1994, we are forwarding
herewith the subject certificate of coverage to discharge under the subject state - NPDES general permit. This
permit is issued pursuant to the requirements of North Carolina General Statute 143-215 .1 and the
Memorandum of Agreement between North Carolina and the US Environmental Protection agency dated
December 6, 1983.
If any parts, measurement frequencies or sampling requirements contained in this permit are
unacceptable to you, you have the right to request an individual permit by submitting an individual permit
application. Unless such demand is made, this certificate of coverage shall be final and binding.
Please take notice that this certificate of coverage is not transferable except after notice to the Division
of Environmental Management. The Division of Environmental Management may require modification or
revocation and reissuance of the certificate of coverage.
This permit does not affect the legal requirements to obtain other permits which may be required by the
Division of Environmental Management or permits required by the Division of Land Resources, Coastal Area
Management Act or any other Federal or Local governmental permit that may be required.
