As we discussed, in the past I have sent my samples out to be tested for all requirements, including pH testing. The last two iterations of testing gave me results below benchmark levels for my north outfall• I discussed this with our environmental consultant for advice on how to get our pH back within benchmark range. During that discussion I learned that the sample had to be tested within 15 minutes or the results were not valid. As we have been taking our samples to a lab for analysis, our sample results could not have been valid. To fix this problem we will immediately purchase an approved pH tester to perform the required field testing. As soon as the equipment arrives we will test the pH from both of our outfalls. If this is not done during a valid rainfall event, we will also perform an additional sampling when such a rainfall event occurs. If there are other tasks that we need to perform, please let me know. Attached are the sample results. I am mailing the hardcopy of the sample results today as well. Thanks again for your help and clarification on the pH sampling, Thanks i Rick Moody P&G Site Environmental Leader Ph: 336-954-4967 Fax: 336-954-4561 email: moody.rb@pg.com n RESEARCh& ANA1yTiCA1 L.AbORATORIES, INC.
