permittee to execute Tier One and Tier Two response actions based on the first benchmark exceedence (Tier One) and the second consecutive benchmark exceedence (Tier Two) Tier Two requires that the permittee institute monthly monitoring instead of twice -per year monitoring until three consecutive monitoring events show no benchmark exceedences • Part II Section B — For permittees with exposed piles a new provision that four exceedences of any particular benchmark will trigger increased DWQ involvement in the permittees stormwater management and control actions DWQ may direct the permittee
