Liane:
I have spoken with my supervisor Cyndi Karoly about the Sanford WWTP site, specifically about the drainage areas that
we had not determined as high or low density based on our Monday phone conversation. Here is what Cyndi and I
determined:
Drainage area F: You will not need to provide a stormwater BMP since all of the impervious surface is existing.
Drainage areas B and E: We consider these to be high density and therefore the stormwater runoff from these areas will
need to be treated by a properly designed BMP. In drainage area B, all of the impervious surface is concentrated very
close to the outlet structure and all impervious surfaces are being drained by pipes. Drainage area E is 45% impervious,
which puts it into the high density category.
Drainage area C: You have currently estimated the impervious surface at 23%. When you formally submit, we will need
a detailed and clear site plan with a detailed inventory of impervious surfaces to determine whether the drainage area is
above or below 24% impervious.
Please contact me if you have questions.
Thanks,
Annette
