Meadowview Road, Greensboro, NC SW Permit * NCG170093 Dear Mr. Carr: On May 12, 2016 the City of Greensboro Stormwater Management Division completed an industrial compliance inspection of Precision Fabrics Group. Local regulations permit an inspection of industrial facilities under authority granted by City of Greensboro Code of Ordinance Chapter 30, Article 12, Section 7.1 (C-5). This inspection consisted of two parts: a review of the facility files/records and an on -site facility inspection. The inspection was performed by Debbie Shoff ner, and the following deficiencies/observations were noted during the inspection. Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan(SWPPP)/Spill Plan Review Site Maps and SWP3 • No deficiencies observed. Spill Prevention and Response Plan • No deficiencies observed. Monitoring • At this time analytical monitoring is not required, as the reported amount of used motor oil from vehicle (forklift) maintenance is approximately 55 gallons per 1.5 months. The permit states analytical monitoring is required when over 55 gallons is used per month. (See Part Il, Section C.) If the amount of motor oil should ever increase, analytical monitoring may then be necessary. Please make a note to inquire regularly for any changes. Employee Training • Include training on stormwater discharge prohibitions. • Keep training records with the SWPPP. WR 5035 Precision Fabrics May 24, 2016 Page 2 of 2 Site Inspection Preventative Maintenance/Good Housekeeping • Properly dispose of or cover all exposed materials (scrap metal, equipment, etc.). Material can also be moved to a sheltered area in order to eliminate contact with precipitation and/or stormwater runoff. (Refer to Part 11, Sections A.2 and A.4 of the permit.) Additionally, guidelines and procedures for storage and disposal of materials should be outlined in the SWPPP. • Cover scrap metal dumpsters to elimate exposure to precipitation and/or stormwater discharges. • Stabilize/establish turf at outfall 1. • Remove concrete blocks from the area around outfall 3 to ensure outlet is unobstructed and to allow for easier access to the outfall. • Consider maintaining individual spill kits closer to loading areas. Non-Stormwater Discharges • No deficiencies observed. It is recommended that Precision Fabrics Group take appropriate actions to correct the noted deficiencies.
