Don Mason (APAC Harrison) and Rex Maney assisted during the inspection. The plant is fairly old and located along a hillside across from the quarry. All drainage is eventually routed to the basin at the entrance, which is Outfall 001 (and then goes to Mack Town Creek). Routine maintenance needs to be performed at the facility (this is taking place now). Routine cleaning and maintenance of the plant and secondary containment areas may need to be conducted more frequently than 1/year. The basin at 001 likely needs to be cleaned out with some frequency, as the capacity appears limited. The ditch lines at the entrance road appear to need maintenance to ensure that stormwater enters basin 001. DWQ recommends that the upper area be walked to determine where it is draining and re-route as necessary. It does not appear to drain to the upper basin now (as it was intended).
