The chemicals are unloaded by the supplier and loaded into the building by plant personnel with an electric crane. We have never had a leak with these chemicals. If a spill occurred we could call the supplier or A & D Environmental & Industrial Services. We have monthly safety meetings from an outside source. We also have lime, which is stored in a silo and loaded by supplier. If a lime spill occurred, it could be picked up with a backhoe and put into one of tine digestors. If necessary, a dirt berm could be built around the closest stoma drain. All of the loading and unloading areas are kept clean and free of obstructions. We have a list of phone numbers and personnel (listed in our City issued Nextel phones) that can be called upon to clean up spills. As of March 3, 2011 we have had no spills.
