As I hung up the phone with you I had a call from the person who forwarded the following information to me recommending that I talk to a different
person in our lab section about the best method to use I am sorry about the Confusion These are the EPA approved methods I will get back with
you on the State -approved methods when I hear back from our lab

The Chem Lab has a list of the methods that they certify labs for analysis on their website EPA has approved methods listed zn 40 CFR 136 and
those are the ones that our rules (.5A NCAC 2B 0103) reference for use in determining conformity or non -conformity with standards 40 CFR 136

subject state — NPDES general permit This permit is issued pursuant to the requirements of
North Carolina General Statute 143-215 1 and the Memorandum of Agreement between North
Carolina and the US Environmental Protection Agency dated May 9, 1994 (or as subsequently
amended)
Please take notice that this certificate of coverage is not transferable except after notice to
the Division of Water Quality The Division of Water Quality may require modification or
revocation and reissuance of the certificate of coverage Please also note the requirement to have
a Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan and to comply with the cut off concentrations listed in
the permit
This permit does not affect the legal requirements to obtain other permits which may be
required by the Division of Water Quality or permits required by the Division of Land
Resources, Coastal Area Management Act or any other federal or local governmental permit that
may be required

We've received an NOl from Shamrock Environmental Corporation for their Patton Avenue
Site in Greensboro for coverage under NCG08 (Transit and Transportation SW/WW
permit) The site discharges stormwater into South Buffalo Creek (C, NSW) The NOT
is attached This is a hazardous waste small quanity generator
Does the Winston Salem Regional Office have any concerns about issuing this facility a
COC for this general permit, and are there any potential impacts to wetlands" If we
don't receive any ob3ections, we'll issue the COC in 30 days
