They are also overdue on two years of annual fees. We are not able to renew the permit until they are paid up. Since we are wrapping up the renewals of the NCG07s, this permit is slated to become inactive. After that happens, the permittee would have to apply for a new NCG07 COC. If not, you'll need to fill out a renewal application. I attached a copy of the renewal application off the DWQ website for you in case you need it. Incidentally, the $100.00 dollar fee is not due with the renewal, they bill facilities an annual fee so they don't collect any money for renewals. if you have already filled this out and sent it in, the ball is in the Stormwater Permitting Unit's (SPU) court. I know they are pretty short staffed in the stormwater unit and a lot of changes are occurring structurally within that group so don't be alarmed if you haven't yet received your COC. Until you do, just continue operating under the old permit and abide by the requirements therein. I'll cc Jean Conway on this email so that she will know to check on the COC for you. The Regional Offices used to receive a copy of the COC which made it easy for them to know which facilities had received their renewed permit (COC). In the recent past, that has changed, and I believe they have tried to maintain a data base showing which facilities were sent their COCs. By the way, I'm no longer with DWQ. I'm with the Division of Air Quality now. If you have any questions, just contact Jean at 910-796-7339 or iean.conwaygncdenr.go_v_. Jean, they are in Onslow County, check to see if SPU is still maintaining a database that you can look at to see who has been sent their COCs. Give me a buzz if you have any questions.
