This inspection was conducted in conjunction with the facility's RLAP permit renewal. Bob Branch (LA ORC) and Shuford Wise (WWTP ORC) were present and assisted in the inspection. Overall the facility appeared to be in compliance with Permit # WQ0002431. Due to reduced flows the facility has not needed to land apply since 2014. Mr. Wise and Mr. Branch indicated it would be at least a couple of years before another application is necessary. The WWTP, at current flows, appears to have adequate solids storage capacity. There are two drying beds on-site; however, the ORC reports they are unlikely to ever use them based on their current state. An additional sludge holding tank can be used if the need arises. Staff have concerns regarding ability to meet vector attraction reduction requirements due to facilities primarily industrial flow. Facility is currently required to meet pathogen and vector attraction requirements due to some domestic flow and presence of pathogens. Field #2 visited during the inspection and appears to be actively maintained and in good visual condition. Field #4 has limited access for land application events.
