(Description of Minimization of Water
Quality Impacts)
Replace bridge no. 54 over Tar River on SR 1243 Leggett Road. Use 1 @75', 1 @80'. 1 @75' 33" Box Beam. No deck drains are required. At line back and line ahead of
begin/end bridge, an outlet with class B rip -rap will discharge on the upstream and downstream side outside of the buffer zone BZ 2. This project does not contain weltands.
Bank stabilization is provided along the existing stream banks.
