We have reviewed and approved Tube Specialties request to increase the permit flow

permit change. Revised Effluent Limit page, as well as a new Cover page and

PART I
Specific Conditions
C.) Authorization Statement:
1.) The Permittee is hereby authorized to discharge wastewater in accordance with the effluent
limitations, monitoring requirements, and all other conditions set forth in this Industrial User
Pretreatment Permit (IUP) into the sewer collection system and wastewater treatment facility of the
Control Authority and/or Municipality.
2.) The Permittee is hereby authorized to continue operation of and discharge wastewater from the
following treatment or pretreatment facilities. These facilities must correspond to the treatment
units listed on both the application and inspection forms.

3.) The Peiniittee is hereby authorized to, if required by the Control Authority and/or Municipality and
after receiving Authorization to Construct (A to C) from the Control Authority and/or Municipality,
construct and operate additional pretreatment units as needed to meet final effluent limitations.

building, following the last process tank for the paint line.

*Industries must submit report to City WWTP monthly by the 15th day of the following month.
**Reporting Total Toxic Organics: Permittees must submit a certified analysis for TTOs. If the analysis indicates compliance a certification statement should be submitted every 6 months(See Part
II(5d)). If the first analysis indicates non-compliance a second analysis is required. All analyses reported must be performed by a laboratory certified by the State of North Carolina to perform TTO
analyses.
***Surcharge imposed for all in excess of: (See above)(TSS,Ammonia Nitrogen,and COD)
****Industries submit oil and grease analysis semi-annually between January-June and July-December for preceding six months per instructions in Part(la)of this permit.
*****pH shall not be less than 6.0 nor greater than 11.0 Standard Units.
Note: Composite sampling and Grab samples will be done by both the industry and the POTW.
