I think it is about 3 hours but then I never drive that route. Take US 64 to Columbia. When you come over the bridge into Columbia the rest area is on your right if you need to stop!!!!!!! Continue east toward Manteo. It is about 5 miles to our road. The hwy 64 narrows to two lanes. A little later, Old Hwy 64 bears off to left but you stay on new 64 east. At this point a borrow canal is now on the right side of the hwy. On the right is also a clear cut. Several logging road crossings occur on the canal. As the hwy begins a right curve you should notice a power line coming over the hwy. There is a gravel road to the right (opening in guard rail) that angles back hard to the right. You will see a large (15' wide X 9' tall with wing walls) oval culvert sitting beside the gravel road (It is a spare). Continue into the farm on the gravel road about 2 miles until you have an opening on the left that is the old farm field we planted (1000 acres). We will be working along the shoulder of the road setting up 3 new plots for stream to the EEP. I'll have ATV's for us to get out into the site as you would be limited along the road.
