Retreat at Arden Farms Project

Dear Mr. Tynes:

On April 3, 2019, you requested a 401 Water Quality Certification from the Division of Water
Resources (Division) for the subject site. On November 15, 2019, the Division received a
request from your consultant to withdraw the application since there are no longer any proposed
impacts to waters of the state. This letter acknowledges the request; your application is
withdrawn.

Please be aware that you have no authorization under Section 401 of the Clean Water Act for this
project and any work done within waters of the state may be a violation of North Carolina
General Statutes and Administrative Code.
