Due to limited shoreline on our lot, we will be sharing a dock with our neighbors, Dan and Marleen Rippeth, who own Lot 6. It has been determined by Alcoa that at the location of our shared dock the water is only 6 feet deep at full pool. According to the current rules for High Rock Lake, we need 8 feet at the end of the dock. Thus we will need to dredge and am requesting a dredging permit from NCDWQ. We want to be ready when/if the lake level is lowered this winter. Our plan is to utilize a front end loader when the lake level is down to remove about 500 cubic yards from an area seventy five (75) feet by sixty (60) feet (4500 square feet), as discussed on the attached application and shown on the attached sketch (A). The removed material will be spread over an area of about 0.9 acres of septic fields (Lots 7S and 6S) owned by us and the Rippeth's - see attached development map (13) and Rippeth agreement letter (C). As shown on the attached area map (D), Crane Point Development is accessed by Lake Farm Road off of Long Ferry Road which is accessed off of Interstate 85 at Exit 81. Also attached is our General Permit Verification from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (E). Our check (No. 5130) for the $200 application fee, as well as seven (7) copies of the application and supporting documentation, is attached. Thank you for your assistance. If you have any questions, we can be reached by phone at 704-431-4754 or by email at sash34 a,carolina.rr.com or cstewart.ashAbp.com. Sincerely, Attachments (7 copies) C. Stewart Ash Kay C.
