Send all suspicious email as an attachment to report.spam@nc.gov Hey Alan- Just tried to call- figured I try and relieve some of the confusion hopefully. Sorry, didn't describe well at all in that last email. That permanent impact number I gave you (0.059 acres/2581SF) was the increase in the area of the permanent maintenance corridor through the buffer due to the change in the alignment of the trail and sewer. I believe you and Len had discussions on this change. The change in permanent wetland impact was only an additional 0.02acres/964SF due to the required roadway connection now deemed necessary by Stallings (see callouts on the attached). Total permanent impact under the new plan is only 0.114 acres to Wetland IA. The portion you permitted in the previous application was 0.092acres. They will be paying mitigation for this impact. Let me know if this straightens out the issue on this question. As for the swales- I believe we were to reseed that area with grass. What was your thinking on how the swales encroached to the buffer? On Tue, Nov 5, 2019 at 11:34 AM Johnson, Alan <alan.johnson@ncdenr.gov> wrote: Are these swells going to be replanted with woody vegetation. Or remain a grass swale. If nothing else, I would encroach into the swale except for maybe the direct line of discharge? Can you high lite the old impact and then just overlay in a different color the new impact. 0.06 is approx. 2600 sq ft. of new impact. Is all this under the allowable, or allowable with mitigation. A lot of things going on. Send all suspicious email as an attachment to report.spam@nc.gov Hey Alan- Attached are the proposed changes to the Solis Chestnut project (DWR# 19-0834). The observable changes to the buffer are shown on Sheets 4 through 7. Total increase in permanent impacts from the previous submittal are less than 0.06 acres. As shown in the plans, all temporary impacts within the buffer will be replanted at 260 stems/acre with the permanent maintenance easement to be reseeded with native stabilization mix. Please let me know if you might need any additional information for your approval on this. Thanks- Heath On Mon, Oct 21, 2019 at 8:27 AM Johnson, Alan <alan.johnson@ncdenr.gov> wrote: I am good. Send all suspicious email as an attachment to report.spam@nc.gov 2 Alan There were required minor modifications to the plans that were submitted for the 401 WQC. There are no changes to the impacts. Very minor changes were needed to the buffer disturbances (only about 2% of the 402,172 SF buffer area) to adapt/meet engineering needs; move the trail to an existing crossing (old breached dam); and resolve a dispute with the adjacent neighborhood.
