Dear Amy,
Per our phone conversation, we want to inform you that we are making some
minor changes to what was submitted for approval to obtain the variance
referenced above.
Due to a survey error, the 50' Neuse River buffer line is approximately 10' closer
to the water than indicated on our submitted plan. This means that our entire
construction footprint now falls approximately 10' landward from the Zone 2 line
than what was submitted. We will continue to construct everything as submitted
and in the location submitted, with the only change being that the "level spreader
wall" that extends off the garage will now extend further out toward the
creek than indicated on the plan. However, it will still come within the Zone 2 line
and further landward from the line than on the submitted plan. The net effect of
this change is a decrease of impact to Zone 2 than what was approved.
As we are ready to start construction, we would appreciate if you could review
this information as soon as possible. Attached are 3 copies of the new drawings
per your request.
