Dear Ms. Lucas,
Stantec is pleased to submit the Stormwater Management EZ Permit application package for
Permitting Review for the above referenced project at Ft. Bragg, North Carolina. This application
proposes to construct a Multi -purpose Training Facility. The property is located in its own compound
with access from Lamont Rd. The site is an undeveloped site and the disturbed area covers an area
of 3.65 acres.
Due to the unique nature of Ft. Bragg please allow an explanation of a few items on the EZ
application:
1) Application: Total property area = Total project area = 3.65 Ac. In this case the
property/project area matches the total disturbed area of the project since Ft. Bragg property
area is in the order of magnitude of square miles.
2) The gravel driveway and associated "parking" area is sized for emergency vehicular access
and comprises 12-inches of No.57 stone on filter fabric; however, the subgrade below the
stone is to be compacted during construction. Given the material and limited use of the
driveway/parking it is anticipated that stormwater from this area will typically infiltrate the 12-
inch layer of stone and will not carry as many pollutants as a typical asphalt driveway/parking
area. That said, the parking and driveway were considered as impervious for this application.

1. Two (2) copies of all applicable plans
2. One (1) copy of the soils report
3. Two (2) copies of the Permit Application
4. One (1) copies of the Stormwater Narrative and Calculations
5. One (1) copy of the USGS map with project location
6. One (1) check in the amount of $505 for the application fee
