.. EMC WQ -83-10 -
In accordance with G.S. 143-215.67(b), the Town of Sher City requests
authorization to accept the following sources and additional•waste flow
into.our sewerage system:
1. Knollwood Apartments: Knollwood Apartments Limited plans
to construct 32 apartment units -(16 one -bedroom and 16 two -
bedroom units) on a tract of land within the corporate
limits that will utilize the Towns sewer system..- Based
on local experience, we estimate this development will add
an additional. 4,400 gpd flow into our system. As indicated
in our latest quarterly report, the Town has removed
sufficient extraneous flow to accept this additional flow.
Please advise if you have questions or require additional information.

SUBJECT: In -stream Assessment Request
Town of Siler City
Chatham County
The Town of Siler City has requested an amendment to EMC WQ 83-10 to allow
for the addition of 12,300 gpd of all domestic wastewater. It is requested an
in -stream assessment be performed to evaluate the potential impact on Loves
Creek in the Cape Fear Basin (03-06-12). Attached is the summary of the past
twelve (12) months monitoring data.
If further information is needed, please advise.
