McDaniel Integra Land Company, LLC 1525 International Parkway, Suite 2001 Lake Mary, FL-32146 Subject Property: Integra Springs at Kellswater (formerly part of Kellswater Commons Development) STORMWATER MANAGEMENT PLAN (SMP) - Modification to BMP#1 REQUEST FOR MORE INFORMATION On October 8, 2009, the Division of Water Quality DWQ received your application from Mr. Adam Nowocin PE, requesting a modification to a stormwater Best Management Practices device (BMP # 1) which was part of the previously approved SMP for Kellswater Commons Development. Please provide the following information so that we may continue to review your project and prevent return of your application as required by 15A NCAC 2H.0506: Additional Information Requested 1. Please revise the cover sheet and subsequent pages of the plans to reflect the name of the project as discussed. 2. Wet Pond: a. Please move the inlet pipe from the corner towards the center of the forebay (i.e. about 20 feet to the right). b. The riser height dimension indicated in BMP Outlet Detail (Section A-A) should be changed from 6 feet to 4 feet. c. Please revise the statement on sheet C400 requiring in-situ soil verification and a possible clay liner installation to read as follows: "Geotechnical Engineer shall verify that the in- situ soil is clayey (e.g. silty-clay, loamy-clay, or clay loam) and shall be compacted to achieve a moderately low to very low infiltration rate (less than 0.6 in/hr). Otherwise, a clay liner shall be installed as shown". This office recommends an 8-inch clay liner plus 4- inch top soil. Please respond within five (5) days of the date of this letter by sending two (2) copies of the above information and any revisions in writing.
