Final plans and specifications for the subject project have been
reviewed and found to be satisfactory. Authorization is hereby granted
for the construction of modifications to the existing M'Kean Maffit
Wastewater Treatment Plant's comminutor and grit chamber to provide
an automatic flow recorder and a hydrogen peroxide odor control system
with a 7,000 gallon bulk storage tank.
You are cautioned not to initiate construction until so notified
by EPA if Federal Funding is desired for project construction.
This is a Class IV Wastewater Treatment Plant and the operator in
responsible charge must hold a valid Grade IV certificate.
This Authorization to Construct shall be subject to revocation unless
the proposed facilities are constructed in accordance with the approved
plans, specifications, supporting documents, and are in compliance with
the conditions and limitations as specified in Permit No. NC0023973.
