M'Kean-Maffit Wastewater Treatment Plant

EPA Project No. C370595-03
Final plans and specifications for the subject project have been
reviewed and found to be satisfactory. Authorization is hereby granted
for the construction of shoreline stabilization, underdrain system, new
outlet structure with foam control, new sampling system, new chlorine
building and improvements to chlorination facilities, improvements to
influent distribution box and recirculation pump station, installation
of a plug valve at the existing digester building, installation of a
check valve at the primary sludge pump station, extension to existing
6" potable water main, and revisions to an existing storm drain inlet.
You are cautioned not to proceed with construction of the above
said facilities untilso notified by the State and EPA.
This is a Class IV Wastewater. Treatment Plant and the operator in
responsible charge must hold a valid Grade IV certificate.
This Authorization to Construct shall be subject to revocation unless
the proposed facilities are constructed in accordance with the approved
plans, specifications, supporting documents, and are in compliance with
the conditions and limitations as specified in Permit No. NCO023973.
