Directions to Site: From the intersection of SR 1345 and Hwy 280\191 in the Mills River Community, go 5 miles northwest on SR 1345 to the campground. The WWTP and discharge point is on the southwest side of the North Fork Mills River 200 yds. southeast of the entrance to the campground. 6. Describe receiving stream features and pertinent downstream uses: Receiving stream is 20' - 30' wide with depth from < 1' to several feet, with a streambed made of bedrock and smooth cobbles. Downstream uses include agriculture (irrigation and chemical mixing for corn, vegetables), water supply, aquatic and wildlife propagation, fishing, canoeing. PART II - DESCRIPTION OF DISCHARGE AND TREATMENT WORKS 1. a. Volume of wastewater to be permitted 0.012 MGD (Ultimate Design Capacity) b. Please provide a description of existing or substantially constructed wastewater treatment facilities: existing facilities consist of an influent pump station, a 10,800 gal. aeration basin with two blowers, a 55 sq. ft clarifier with two 5.5 ft. weirs, skimmer and sludge returns, a 9000 gal. chlorine contact basin with tablet chlorinator, and a 1400 gal. basin with 90 degree V-notch weir. f.
