I met with you at a proposed development/expansion of the National Guard Center on
Reedy Creek Road in Wake County. At your request , an evaluation was performed to
determine the locations of streams and the respective Neuse Riparian Buffer on this tract.
Accordingly, the attached map that you provided indicates the streams and the buffers
that are subject to the Neuse Buffer Rule.
In addition, it should be noted that in accordance with the rule, concentrated runoff from
new ditches or manmade conveyances must be dispersed into sheet flow before the
runoff enters Zone 2 of the riparian area.
