Our response below is regarding the permit exceedances for Total Suspended Solids for the month of July 2019. It was noted by our ORC that there was a rabbit carcass wedged into the effluent pipe going into the dechlor box. Unfortunately the carcass was not discovered immediately. In turn, this resulted in higher than normal TSS readings. It is always our goal to remain in compliance with regulations set forth by the Division of Water Resources. Due to this being an uncontrollable act of nature, we would appreciate consideration of any assessments. Juanita James was the designated submitter with the State of North Carolina for Woodland Mills WWTP, NC0004464. Unfortunately, her departure on August 20th from Envirolink came at a time that affected many clients. Due to Woodland Mills not remaining a client of Envirolink, I no longer had access to their e- DMR account and was not able to enter data or submit the August DMR on their behalf. I have however, forwarded to them all of the data that Envirolink has regarding their facility for the month of July and August. Although their August report will be submitted late, I feel certain that whomever currently has signature authority for Woodland Mills will be able to remedy this situation and submit their e-DMR as soon as possible. Feel free to contact me should you have further questions.
