The Corps has reviewed the recently submitted PCN and plans for the Mud Creek Confluence Restoration Project in
Henderson County, NC. Based upon this review, the Corps can authorize the proposed wetland restoration impacts
under NWP 27. However, the proposed impacts for the improved access road will need to be authorized under NWP 14.
Impacts 2 (0.019 ac), 3 (0.02 ac), 4 (0.021 ac), 5 (0.009 ac) and 7 (0.028 ac) will be authorized under NWP 14 (totaling
0.097 ac).
