Ian - this is what the notes on the file are about. No need to talk to me if you can get ahold of John next week, now that
Eric's provided specifics.

Subject: Seawatch at Sunset Harbor
I will manage the Seawatch at Sunset Harbor conservation easement. I want to ensure that the wetlands are not
negatively impacted by nutrients. I request that the CAMA and 401 Certifications have conditions in them that are
similar to:
Special Conditions for Seawatch at Sunset Harbor
1. Upon submittal of any new or modified stormwater permits to the DWQ's Stormwater unit for areas draining to
the Carolina bays, the application package will clearly show the BMP capacity for removal of nutrients. The
application package will also provide total removal rates (current + new BMP removal rate) to show the nutrient
loading rates in condition 2 below have not or will be exceeded.
2. DWQ's Wetland unit shall set the nutrient loading rate for the basins that drain into the Carolina bays. The
Stormwater unit shall determine the method to achieve compliance for this condition and should condition the
stormwater permit accordingly. Annual water quality sampling reports shall be submitted to the Stewardship
Director, 1601 MSC, Raleigh, NC 27699-1601.
3. Impacts to wetlands/waters shall not occur until the Conservation Easement Deed has been fully executed and
the management fee has been received by the State of North Carolina.
