Michelle,
On September 27, 2019, the Division of Water Resources (Division) received your application dated September 26, 2019,
requesting a 401 Water Quality Certification from the Division for the subject project. The Division has determined that
your application is incomplete and cannot be processed. The application is on hold until the following items are
addressed:
1. Section F.2c indicates that the project does not have a stormwater management plan (SMP) reviewed and
approved under a local government stormwater program. Macon County has a state -approved local government
stormwater program for water supply watersheds. Please confirm that Macon will not be reviewing and
approving the stormwater management plan. [15A NCAC 02H .0506 (b)(5)]
2. Please provide stream culvert cross-section details showing the provisions for aquatic life passage as required in
Condition 11.11 of General Water Quality Certification 4139 (attached). Please confirm that invert elevations
noted on the plan sheets for stream culvert inlet and outlets will meet the noted condition. [15A NCAC 02H
.0506(b)(2)]
Pursuant to Title 15A NCAC 02H .0502(c), the applicant shall furnish all of the above requested information for the
proper consideration of the application. If all of the requested information is not received, the Division will be unable to
approve the application and it will be returned.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or would like to discuss further.
