There have been several meetings with staff and council involvement. Respectfully SubSSub itted, Z Scott Howard Town Administrator Town of Norwood , NomAte_9_9 FAe P-er',g (o 66 J t/�ei October 14, 2019 • TOWN OF NORWOOD WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT RENOVATIONS EMC SOC WQ S18-011 QUARTERLY REPORT-OCTOBER 2019 Mooresville Regional Supervisor Division of Water Resources Water Quality Operations Section 610 East Center Avenue, Suite 301 Mooresville, NC 28115 Water Quality Permitting Section/NPDES 1617 Mail Service Center Raleigh, NC 27699-1617 Dear Sirs: On August 12, 2019 the Town was approved for a State Reserve Loan (SRP) from the Water Infrastructure Fund in the amount of$4,271,000. Design is currently underway by Willis Engineers for the renovation project which consists of constructing a new headworks, aeration basin weirs, splitter box, clarifiers, sludge pump station, chlorine contact chamber, and other site improvements. On September 20, 2019 Willis Engineers reviewed 50% plans and specifications with the Town. The Town has a deadline of November 1, 2019 to submit the Final Bid and Design Package to the Division of Water Infrastructure for their approval by March 2, 2020.
