On 3 March, 1998, a field inspection was made of your property, Lot 68 on Ridgewood Drive in
the Pine Hill Estates subdivision in Goldsboro. A manmade drainage ditch is located on this lot. It
was determined by this office that the ditch was constructed for drainage and does not exhibit the
characteristics of a perennial or intermittent stream. It is therefore determined by this office that
you are exempt of the requirements of 15A NCAC 2B .0233: Protection and Maintenance of
Riparian Areas with Existing Forest Vegetation.
