I think bridge maintenance did a good job with removal of the spoil material and the vegetation is visible. It sounds like they did more raking than shoveling. The grade appears level with the of the adjacent undisturbed wetlands. Please let me know if you would like to see anything additional and we can do it. I don't see a whole lot of difference. I thought we would see more veg uncovered. I feel like I can see where there is now more exposed vegetation but I can get back out there and take some additional photos if these are not sufficient due to the shading. I definitely see my error in how I failed to appropriately capture the jurisdictional features on the plans and I think I let some of the historical aerial imagery ( in 2013 the cut channel was approximately 12-15' wide on the inlet) lead me astray from appropriately evaluating the feature as currently existing. I'll be sure to avoid any assumptions such as these in the future and confirm with you both if I am not sure on the limits or nature of jurisdiction. I will also stress to our maintenance crews on the importance of notifying us whenever the construction methodology is being altered. Sorry for all the drive time yesterday but I am glad you were all able to see some projects underway! Thanks!
