Jason,
In reviewing the permit drawings, I saw that there is hand clearing adjacent to fill. I normally do not like that as it does
not give the construction workers a buffer to construct the slope or repair the slopes and silt fences. We have in the
past allowed a 5' MC for slopes up to 10' in height and 10' of MC for slopes greater than 10'.
Could you please see how much additional impact this would be? Again, this would just be for the areas adjacent to the
fill slopes. I feel that this would produce a better project in the long run.
