Brad and Joanne,
After discussing the subject project with Mason we have decided that it is necessary to account for additional wetland
impacts at Site 3. We decided that adding hand clearing impacts to Site 3 will be sufficient to capture any activity which
could occur just beyond the back slope of the (already accounted for) special cut ditch.
I have added notes to the attached pdf permit drawing plan sheets to call out the additional hand clearing impacts. The
impacts were calculated from the existing ditch line (which is permitted for excavation) to the PDE. The width of this
area varies but the entire area was captured in the measurement.
Additional hand clearing impacts are shown in square feet and are noted on:
Permit drawing plan sheet 5 and 6 (-L- Sta. 91+80 to 94+00)
Permit drawing plan sheet 9 and 10 (-L- Sta. 94+00 to 96+10 and -L- Sta. 100+30 to 103+10)
Permit drawing sheet 20, the wetland impact summary table, notes the additional hand clearing in the row for Site
The additional impacts are shown in red.
The amounts are 1077 sq. ft, 1275 sq. ft, and 1386 sq. ft, respectively.
Please let me know if this is sufficient to account for the additional impacts for this project.
