At station 973+45 (ESC Permit Pitt-2019-017), approximately 2700 gallons of drilling material (bentonite and water) surfaced and made ground contact on a dry bank in an adjacent wetland. The drill rig was immediately shut down once they observed loss of returns. Containment was established around perimeter of the affected area in the wetland. Clean up is currently in progress and ongoing. The goal is to have all cleanup efforts completed by close of business today. I will be sending a 7 day follow up letter next week. Estimated Impacted Area Bentonite (40' X 30' in length X 6" deep estimated based on field observation) on dry ground surface. Survey will shoot (Dimensions (ft)/Depth (in.): area for a more accurate measurement.
