(Aqua) offers the following response to the above -referenced Notice of Violation and Intent to Assess Civil Penalty which was issued for exceeding the daily maximum of Coliform, Fecal MF in the month of July. Aaua's Resoonse• Aqua received an excursion notice on August 2, 20I9 for the July 31, 2019 compliance sampling event. Aqua supervisor Peter Rhodes completed an onsite investigation the following week to determine the root cause of this excursion. The investigation found that the sodium hypochlorite feed rate could be safely increased to improve disinfection. The sodium hypochlorite feed was adjusted and Aqua is currently monitoring the situation. Aqua has been compliant for daily max fecal at this facility since August 9, 2019.
