General Project Narrative:
(Description of Minimization of Water
Quality Impacts)
This project replaces existing bridge #010291: 1@32'-1.5", 1@32'-6^, 1@32'-1.5", for an overall length of 96'-9". The bridge consists of reinforced concrete girders. The bridge
is 20' wide out -to -out. The proposed bridge will be a thre spans 1@35', 1@50', 1@35' 21" cored slab for an overall length of 120'. The bridge width is 30' out to out. The
proposed bridge will incorporate sloped abutments with 4' caps. 8" x 4" slot deck drains, left & right, will be required. Runoff from the bridge will be captured and discharged
onto Class B rip rap. There is a slight increase in the impervious area of the project, however there is no significant increase in the discharge from the roadway runoff.
