This inspection was conducted to verify that the facility is operating in compliance with the conditions and limitations specified in NPDES WW Permit No. NCG500234. A summary of the findings and comments noted during the inspection are provided in the enclosed copy of the inspection report. The Compliance Evaluation inspection was conducted by Division of Water Resources staff from the Washington Regional Office. The inspection revealed that effluent monitoring is not being conducted as prescribed in the General Permit. The Division of Water Resources may pursue enforcement action for this and any additional violations of State law. After the inspection it was determined that the facility is operating under the incorrect type of permit. NOD will be issued with attached application for Individual NPDES Permit. The Regional Office views the matter of monitoring as a moot point; monitoring under NCG50 is not appropriate for the waste stream.
