Send all suspicious email as an attachment to ov To whom it may concern, I understand there is a proposal to implement a new housing development, which results in dredging. While the effects of dredging are debatable, I feel the risk can be avoided by relocating the project near a facility that has a capability of processing necessary waste management without exceeding 50% capacity. Running at 100% capacity leaves little to no room for error. This in turn causes environmental risks that again, may be debatable, but best left avoided as it carries a high risk if the latter where to be the case. Also, vegetation should be highly regarded in protection as it plays a large role in the grand scheme of all living life forms. From another angle, Chattooga is well known and revered for being wild and scenic. Adding development significantly devalues the main appeal to this particular location. Leaving this river as just another river.. voiding the draw to what makes it special. When voiding the appeal, it deflates tourism, in which I'm sure is the reason behind development. This may very well be a selling point if it didn't hinder chattooga from being wild and scenic, however it greatly depreciates the area rather than adding value. Moving the development close to, yet not too close may be a mediating point. Allowing development could bring positive aspects, so long as it doesn't jeopardize the integrity and aesthetic appeal of said nature habitat. Encouraging safety of both the wildlife forms and aesthic appeal is in favor if boosting protection of environment and keeping/improving tourism. The key element is to keep Chattooga wild and scenic with minimal risk. I appreciate your time in hearing these points, and would be grateful for the careful consideration of this subject at hand with the highest level of integrity and respect to nature and wildlife. We are linked in an ecosystem were everything is important. I trust that you will make a informed and moral decree regarding said project. Thank you kindly, Brandi Ellsworth
