Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules. The Service Area for the facility is Alamance, Anson, Chatham, Cumberland, Durham, Harnett, Hoke, Johnston, Lee, Moore, Orange, Richmond, Randolph, Sampson, Scotland, and Wake Counties. 2. The hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 4:00pm. The facility is closed on Saturday and Sunday. 3. The facility has proper signage. 4. The facility is properly secured with a locked gate. Personnel are onsite during operating hours. 5. Permit and records not reviewed at this inspection. 6. Arrangements have been made with the local fire department to provide fire fighting services. 7. Repairs to the transfer station have been completed and transfer station has reopened and returned to normal operating hours. 8. The windblown litter is being managed well. The perimeter of the facility looked excellent. 9. The waste type being accepted into the facility was MSW and C&D. No problems noted. 10. The leachate collection system was reviewed and is operating properly at this time. 11. There are two fire extinguishers available for fire control. 12. The access around the facility is stable and no soil erosion was noted. 13. Digital pictures were taken during the inspection.
