ADDITIONAL COMMENTS;

1 - This facility has proper signage and is secured by locking gates.
2 - Roads are made of all-weather construction and maintained well.
3 - The working face of the CDLF is keep to a small area as to be able to cover quickly.
4 - The working face has and keeps a stockpile of approved cover material on the top of the cell for easy access.
5 - No unpermitted waste was noted during this facility inspection.
6 - The CDLF unit is permitted to receive and dispose of waste generated within the Dare Co. boundaries consistent
with the resolution passed by the Dare Co. Commissioners on August 02, 2004.
7 - All Inert Debris are separated from other waste and stockpiled for grinding.
8 - Asphalt is separated from other waste and stockpiled for grinding.
9 - Land Clearing Debris stockpiled for grinding. Some has been ground.
10 - Wood pallets noted were generated from C&D activities.
11 - White good area is being managed well.
12 - All records for incoming solid waste are kept at the scale house and has required information.
13 - All groundwater wells were locked and have ID tags on the well casings.
14 - Groundwater and LF Gas monitoring records not reviewed today.
15 - Digital pictures taken during this facility inspection with some attached to this report.
16 - Overall management of this facility is good.

enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any
such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules.
