Reporting Period: July 1 – 7, 2017
• Approximately 4 acres of the southeast side slope have been prepared for hydroseeding during the week of July 10, 2017.
• In addition, the eastern entrance is being prepped for hydroseeding.
• Rockingham County hired a second contractor to perform stormwater ditch repairs. During this reporting period, the second contractor worked on repairing the stormwater ditch at the location of the undercut road as well as repairing the collapsed stormwater
pipe at the closed landfill.

Southeast Side Slope Repair
Preparing southeastern side slope for hydroseeding by dumping and spreading soil on southeast slopes below working face.

Stormwater Ditch Repair
Riprap staged along road, ready for excavator to work into washed out V-ditch area where the perimeter access road has been undercut.

Riprap formed into V-ditch. Flowable fill (low grade grout) will also be added to support the
road undercut areas.

Erosion control matting was installed near drop inlet on the north side of landfill.
Collapsed Culvert (closed landfill) New inlet was installed at wood yard area above the collapsed culvert. Contractor is also
working on restoration of collapsed culvert.
