Prepared by S&ME. January 2017. DIN 27315. The request is for concurrence with changes to the existing plans for Permit No. 1812-INDUS- 2008, Industrial Landfill No.1. The changes include design changes for; the landfill access road and the chimney drains to be installed. The Section has reviewed the request and approves the changes to the operations plan as requested. Duke Energy will consider the request, referenced above (DIN 27315), as an approved document. Upon submittal of construction quality assurance documents and request for permit approval to operate for cells 3 and 4 of the landfill, the Section should be provided an updated Operations Plan containing the changes approved by this letter.
