During the inspection of cell 1 & 2 an area slightly southwest of the working face was observed to have inadequate cover. Facility staff stated that the area was last covered at least two days prior to the inspection. Due to wet weather conditions adequate cover would be placed in this area by Friday January 6, 2017. Facility staff provided photographic documentation on Friday January 6, 2017 via email showing adequate soil was applied to exposed waste located southwest of the working face of the landfill, therefore the violation is considered to be RESOLVED.
