These comments relate to the attached information on the Closure Plan, the Post Closure
Plan, the Corrective Action Plan, and the Financial Assurance Plan from Pasquotank County.
This data was approved for the February 4, 2014 permit amendment modification # 1-PTO. We
estimate that there has been no significant change in construction assumptions or time to warrant
updating these numbers. These numbers will be updated with the next amendment to expand the
site which we estimate will be in approximately 18 months.
The current Engineer’s estimate for Cost of Closure is $1,228,014.85, Post Closure is
$529,842.60, and the Corrective Action Plan is $2,034,490.00 for a total of $3,792,347.45.
