Dear Ms. McHargue:

The Division of Waste Management (DWM), Solid Waste Section (SWS) reviewed the written
request for an approval of disposing Regulated Asbestos Containing Materials (RACM) or non-
friable asbestos wastes at Hanes Mill Road Landfill, Solid Waste Permit No. 3402-MSWLF-
1997 dated November 29, 2016 and revised December 8, 2018 (DIN 27123). The SWS has no
further comment on the request at this time, hereby, approves Hanes Mill Road Landfill to accept
RACM or non-friable asbestos from permitted service areas for disposal. Please place this letter
and approved disposal plan (DIN 27123) in the landfill facility operating record.
