Dear Ms. Witt,
The Solid Waste Section (Section) has reviewed the Groundwater Assessment Report (DIN 16975) for
the FGD Landfill at the Marshall Steam Station submitted by HDR Engineering, Inc. on July 12, 2012. The
Section agrees with the findings outlined in the report regarding monitoring wells MW‐8, MS‐10, MS‐15
and MS‐6. Further assessment is not necessary. However, the Section may request additional
groundwater assessment in the future.
