On April 27, 2016 the Division of Waste Management, Solid Waste Section (Section) received HHNT’s
email with attached drawing, entitled;
Foothills LF - Cell No. 5A Construction - Underdrain Pipe Termination. Prepared for Republic Services.
Prepared by HHNT. April 2016. DIN 26010.
The Section has reviewed the information submitted on behalf of Republic Services and hereby approves
the proposed capping of the existing underdrain pipe as described.
Furthermore, on April 27, 2016 the Section received HHNT’s letter, entitled;
Foothills MSW Landfill Cell No.5A, Protective Cover Demonstration, HHNT Project No. 66703-605-01.
Prepared for Republic Services. Prepared by HHNT. April 2016. DIN 26009.
The Section has reviewed the information, which is required, for the protective cover demonstration
project in Cell 5A (DIN 17835) Effectiveness of Leachate Collection System. The Section has determined
this portion of the demonstration has been satisfied.
