Manager, Environmental Compliance and Support City of Greensboro - Field Operations Department PO Box 3136 Greensboro, NC 27402-3136 Subject: Permit Approval to Operate Greensboro Transfer Station Permit No. 4120T-TRANSFER-, Guilford County, Document Id No. 27046 Dear Mr Lovett: Please find the enclosed permit approval to operate for the Greensboro Transfer Station, Permit No. 4120T-TRANSFER-, which approves the continued operation of the facility. This is a life-of-site permit and will be in effect until the Department of Environmental Quality approves the final closure of the facility. The approved operation plan for the facility is also provided (DIN 27044). In general, the facility permit does not reiterate permit conditions which are included in the Solid Waste Management Rules, 15A NCAC 13B, nor does it restate specific conditions which are included within the approved plans. Please review the conditions of the permit thoroughly. Also included is a certified original of the permit. The certified original is provided for recordation with the Guilford County Register of Deeds. A copy of the certified original affixed with the Register’s seal and the date, book, and page numbers of the recording must be returned within 30 calendar days of issue to the Permitting Branch Supervisor as noted at the bottom of the certification statement.
