Dear Mrs. Martin:

The Solid Waste Section (Section) has reviewed the Proposed Work Plan (DIN 26695) for the
Additional Groundwater Assessment Exceedances at the FGD Landfill submitted on August 26,
2016. The Proposed Work Plan consists of six (6) distinct tasks:
• Task 1 – Review Existing Data
• Task 2 – Well Inspection, Cleaning and Redevelopment
• Task 3 – Collect and Analyze Soil and Surface Water Samples
• Task 4 – Install Water Level and Conductance Logger in BC-25
• Task 5 – Installation of Assessment Groundwater Monitoring Wells
• Task 6 – Phase 1 Assessment Report

The Section approves this Work Plan.
